Short bio
I graduated with an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania and I did my undergraduate studies at Moravian College. I lived in Los Angeles for a very long time, but lately you can find me looking at rocks, mountains and plains in Northern Colorado. I create fictional worlds where time and space are ambiguous. Landscape, outer space, technology, dreams and memories combine to create new environments that could exist equally in the future or in the past. I‘ve had solo exhibitions at L.A. Louver in Venice, sixspace in Los Angeles, Ambach and Rice in Seattle and Collette Blanchard in New York. Some group show highlights include Hydroponic Forms at Falko Alexander in Cologne, the traveling exhibition Alptraum!, the exhibition The Digital Eye: Photographic Art in the Electronic Age at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle, Empty Distances at Mark Moore in Los Angeles and Rogue Wave ’05 at L.A. Louver in Venice, California. I co-curated a group exhibition called Transporter at Kopeikin gallery in Los Angeles.
