Ceramics
These objects begin with USGS public domain 3D data which I manipulate and shape into digital vessel form, and from there I make a 3D printed model. I then cast them in porcelain and glaze them with food safe glazes. They are intended to be semi-functional and to be used as everyday object.
This series is ongoing, currently based on volcanoes of the Cascade mountain range and geological oddities of The West.
