Made with high fire clay and food safe glazes. These are intended to be used. Don’t be afraid to put a flower in the crater of Mount St. Helens.
The inside is fully glazed and water-tight. The lower parts of the outside are left unglazed and have a burnished finish with marks from the mold making and interior glazes processes.
This one is very special because the glaze contains ash that was collected just after the 1980 eruption of it’s namesake volcano. The ash contributed a blueish greenish hue to an otherwise clear glaze.
All of my ceramics will be carefully packed and protected by foam and cardboard boxes. All shipping is done and insured by USPS.
